Please read the following instructions before using this equipment.
FUELING SAFETY
l Unit contains flammable gas (butane) under pressure – use with care.
l Do not expose iron to heat above 50゚C (120゚F) and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun which may overheat the iron and cause an explosion.
l Do not puncture or incinerate.
l Excessive gas flow, flaming or catalyst pulsing red may occur when the regulator is set too high.
l Do not refill, ignite or use near open flame, heater furnace or combustible materials.
OPERATION SAFETY
l Keep unit away from face and body when igniting.
l Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas and benches invite injuries.
l Keep children away. All visitors should be kept away from work area.
l Store when not in use. Store in dry, locked cabinet out of reach of children.
l Be extremely careful as torch flame tip temperature is over 1300゚C (2400゚F)
l Be extremely careful as torch flame tip is almost invisible in daylight or strong light.
l Wear safety goggles.
l Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
l Do not touch the heated tip or barrel of the unit.
l Do not leave unit unattended when it is operating or hot.
l Always be sure the unit is cool before storing
l Use only in a well ventilated area.
l Do not attempt to re-adjust or repair.
l Wait a few minutes to be sure the tip has cooled when you need to change tips after using the soldering iron.
